Ever since we stepped foot in Ethiopia in 2012, the people and children of Ethiopia have held a special place in our hearts. One of our greatest joys is our ongoing partnership with All God’s Children International. While they serve as an adoption agency, their work goes well beyond adoption as they tirelessly work to provide care for children and families around the world. One of their missions in Ethiopia, the House of Hope, is near and dear to us. This is a transition home of healing for girls who have been trafficked or separated from their families as AGCI seeks family reunification. Lila and I were able to visit the House of Hope in 2022 and witnessed firsthand the miraculous healing that takes place within the home. They have recently opened a boys home as well! We hope to get back there very soon. Not a day goes by that we are not aware of how different Lila’s life would be had God not united our family together in the most beautiful way possible.
