Ethiopia

Betelhem is a sweet girl who lives with her mother in an impoverished neighborhood of Addis Ababa. With Betelhem's father not around, her mother struggles to provide for the family on her own. Her mother works doing daily labor jobs, but her earnings are meager and inconsistent, making it difficult to meet the family's needs. Without support, they cannot afford school fees, putting Betelhem's education at risk.
