Mekfira is a bright girl who lives with her parents and siblings in a vulnerable community of Addis Ababa. Both her siblings are special needs, and without a permanent job her parents struggle to provide for the family. Although Mekfira's parents work hard as a daily laborer, their earnings are not enough to meet the family's needs and they cannot afford to pay school fees. Without support, Mekfira's education is at risk.
