Ethiopia

Fedila lives with her mother and six siblings in an impoverished neighborhood of Addis Ababa. Sadly, her father has abandoned the family, leaving her mother to provide on her own. Even though Fedila's mother works hard as a dailaly laborer, her meager wages are not enough to meet the family's needs. Without support, she cannot afford to send Fedila to school, putting her future at risk.
