Ethiopia

Nuru is a bright boy who lives with his mother in an impoverished neighborhood of Addis Ababa. Sadly, his father has abandoned the family, leaving Nuru's mother to provide for the family on her own. Her meager wages as a daily laborer are not enough to meet the needs of the family. Without support, she cannot afford to send Nuru to school, putting his future at risk.
