Macbel is a sweet little boy who lives with his mother in an impoverished neighborhood of Addis Ababa. Sadly, his father abandoned the family when he was born, and he is raised by a single mother. Macbel's mother's meager wages as a daily laborer are not enough to meet the needs of the family. Without support, she cannot afford to send Macbel to school, putting his future at risk.
