Hiwot lives with her mother and three siblings in an impoverished neighborhood of Addis Ababa. Sadly, her father abandoned the family, leaving the mother to support the children on her own. Unfortunately, Hiwot's mother struggles to meet the basic needs of the children and cannot afford to send Hiwot to school. Without support, this sweet girl's education is at risk.
