Genet is a sweet girl that lives with her aunt in a village in the Oromia region of Ethiopia. Sadly, her father passed away and her mother abandoned her, leaving her in the care of her aunt. Genet's aunt does her best to care for her, but without a consistent income her aunt struggles to meet the family's needs. Without support, they cannot afford to send Genet to school, putting her future at risk.
