Habtamu lives with his mother and siblings in a village in the Oromia region of Ethiopia. Sadly, his father is not part of the family's lives, leaving Habtamu's mother to provide for the children on her own. Without a permanent job, his mother struggles to meet the family's needs with her meager earnings from daily labor jobs. Without support, they cannot afford to send Habtamu to school, putting his education at risk.
